About the position

The Site Supervisor (SS) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Oklahoma City hub, managing Air Security Officers (ASO) and Hangar Security Officers. This role includes scheduling, incident management, safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. The SS also recruits staff, conducts performance evaluations, and maintains quality control of security services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned aviation site and interact directly with the Client and Project Manager as needed.
  • Track arrival/departure and activities of security staff.
  • Develop, review, and approve all weekly schedules and perform changes to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that all missions are on time and fully staffed.
  • Monitor and report changing conditions including missing staff, changed missions, and cancellations.
  • Complete travel documents for staff when required.
  • Schedule applicant interviews and submit requests for background checks.
  • Liaise with Human Resources regarding employment contingencies.
  • Monitor employee performance and document discrepancies, interacting with HR and PM on discipline actions.
  • Schedule and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Ensure sufficient inventory and develop purchase requests for uniforms and equipment.
  • Track and schedule annual physicals, drug screenings, and certifications per contract requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee training activities.
  • Participate in company/department quality audits.
  • Organize and maintain file systems and correspondence records.

Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must be free from conviction of a misdemeanor crime of moral turpitude or domestic violence.
  • Must meet the General and Law-Enforcement Experience Guard Qualification Requirements.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record for the past five years.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with people and make sound decisions under stress.
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and adapt to changing situations.
  • Intermediate language skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must pass all training and obtain required certifications.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and background investigation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in law enforcement or military police roles.
  • Proficiency in database software and internet applications.
