About the position

Peraton is seeking Project Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 at SOCOM Headquarters, MacDill AFB, FL. The role involves managing projects related to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for USSOCOM and its components, ensuring effective network operations and support for deployed forces. Project Managers will oversee project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance, providing critical support to the mission of USSOCOM.

Responsibilities

• Manage specific projects assigned by the Government, including project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance.
• Monitor, adjust, and report on project performance, budget, and schedule.
• Provide interim progress reviews to the Government as needed.
• Assist with proposing, implementing, and enforcing policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Document all support requirements in a Project Management Plan (PMP) and provide it to the Government.
• Maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all project activities.
• Develop and maintain an overall Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with a minimum of three levels and associated responsibilities.
• Describe the Project Manager's Quality Management Plan (QMP) and approach to risk management.
• Outline the Project Manager's approach to communications, including processes, procedures, and rules of engagement.
• Maintain the location of technical and project management documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 years with an MS/MA, or 3 years with a PhD.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience with a high school diploma will be considered in lieu of formal education; an AA/AS degree will count for 2 years in lieu of experience.
• PMI Project Management Professional certification is required.
• Top Secret clearance or higher is required.
