About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at SITECH Louisiana is responsible for aggressively pursuing new business opportunities and growing existing accounts within the New Orleans area. This role focuses on leveraging consultative selling techniques to drive sales in the construction technology sector, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively pursue new business opportunities in the New Orleans area.
  • Grow existing business accounts and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction and industrial sectors.
  • Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations to clients.
  • Effectively cover and manage the assigned sales territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful outside sales experience with a proven track record of territory growth.
  • Experience selling heavy equipment is preferred.
  • A history of selling into the construction or industrial industries is beneficial but not required.
  • A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with consultative selling techniques.
  • Ability to communicate comfortably with all levels of management and field personnel.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $40k plus uncapped commissions with OTE of $85-$100k in Year 1 and $110-$150k+ in Years 2 and beyond.
