About the position
The Sitecore Developer position at a financial firm involves contributing to the design and implementation of products using Sitecore technology. The role requires extensive experience in Sitecore development, particularly with the Sitecore Experience platform, and emphasizes collaboration within an Agile environment to enhance product delivery and maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a squad member to design and implement products throughout the PDLC including coding, testing, and documentation independently
- Work with Product Owner and Scrum Master in an Agile environment to improve velocity on product delivery
- Collaborate with product owners and development team members to implement front-end POCs from concept to product delivery
- Work as a cross-functional team player to augment the squad needs as needed
- Contribute to the community of practice and proactively share knowledge with squad members
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Sitecore technical development/implementation of Sitecore Experience platform 9.x/10.x (Azure PaaS must have)
- Strong experience in core Sitecore server-side development with proficiency in Sitecore site design/layouts, Sitecore MVC, API development, C#, and .NET technologies
- Proven ability in front-end web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and moderate experience with modern UI frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
- Deep hands-on experience implementing best practices in content publishing, workflow, custom fields, template design, RSS feed, and media library items
- Strong experience in analyzing and resolving performance issues with Sitecore CMS and search technologies (SOLR, Azure search)
- Hands-on automation experience in deployment solutions (Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tool)
- Experience in writing technical/enablement user stories and documenting technical specifications
- Experience with quality assurance processes for testing CMS applications (functional, non-functional, A/B testing)
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and perform in-depth configuration/code reviews
- Agile mindset to collaborate with product owner, technical platform owner, and squad members throughout the product development life cycle
- Sitecore advanced solution/developer certification
- 8 years of Sitecore Development Experience
