About the position

Sitter4Paws is seeking passionate pet sitters and dog walkers to join our expanding team in West LA. The role involves providing top-tier care for clients' pets in their homes, ensuring their health and safety while following detailed care instructions. The position requires strong communication skills and reliability, as sitters will be the primary point of contact for the pets under their care.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling pets
• Arriving at clients' homes within their allotted time frame and staying for the entire duration of the service
• Providing pets with food and fresh water
• Administering medication to pets according to the instructions provided by pet owners
• Cleaning pet areas, litter boxes, cages, and aquariums, as well as changing rodents' beddings
• Exercising pets as needed, which includes taking dogs out for regular walks
• Providing updates to pet owners
• Messaging and sending photos using the TTP app
• Promptly notifying the office before departing the visit of pet illnesses, injuries or safety concerns
• Securing clients' homes

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Holiday availability
• Experience with dogs and cats
• Have a smartphone and dependable car with current license and insurance
• Available to work a variety of hours/days including holidays and weekends
• Be willing and able to handle dogs that may pull on a leash
• Be willing and able to give medication to dogs and cats
