About the position
The Sixth Sense Advisor position involves guiding and mentoring a team of 6th graders participating in an academic quiz competition. The advisor will be responsible for team selection, practice sessions, and attending competitions, fostering a supportive and educational environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Select a team of 6th-grade students for the Sixth Sense academic quiz team.
- Host regular practice sessions to prepare students for competitions.
- Attend and supervise the Sixth Sense competitions against local school districts.
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary school students.
- Strong knowledge of academic subjects relevant to the quiz competition.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a club advisor or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with quiz competitions or academic teams.
