Responsibilities

- Performs duties as the primary scrub person by handling instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
- Anticipates the surgeon and procedural needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successfully completed a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologists and holds a certified surgical technologist credential.
- Completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the military.
- Evidence of employment as a surgical technologist in a healthcare facility for at least one year within the last four years.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required at time of hire.
