About the position

Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for a Skills Trainer/Intensive Case Manager to provide individualized, person-centered skills training and case management services to children and their families as part of the Newberg Behavioral Health team. This position is split to be 20 hours per week based in the Newberg clinic, and 20 hours based in a school setting. Duties include, carrying a caseload, implementing service plans, developing, and carrying out behavior support strategies, offering individual skills training, acting as a resource, providing complex interventions as well as overall structure and behavioral health support, and documenting services in an electronic health record.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a social work or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a setting relevant to the duties and skills described
  • Must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) as identified by the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO)
  • Successful completion of a background check
