C E Hood Construction Inc is seeking a skilled construction worker to join our team in Vero Beach, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $30, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction activities, including plastering, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, masonry work, and welding. The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Candidates must be organized, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check. This position is expected to provide year-round work, with a schedule primarily during the day shift from Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work as needed. As a skilled construction worker, you will be responsible for operating power tools and heavy equipment as required. You will support carpenters and other team members in building structures, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The work will take place in various locations across Indian River, Brevard, and St. Lucie Counties, so a reliable means of transportation is essential. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in construction or a related field, with proficiency in using power tools and operating heavy equipment being highly preferred. Knowledge of plastering, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and masonry work is also crucial for success in this role.
