Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or door schedules for material and dimensional requirements.
- Inspects and selects materials for production to meet fabrication and quality standards.
- Prepares layout sketches and marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
- Machines and assembles doors to prescribed measurements and configurations.
- Operates power woodworking equipment including saws, planers, routers, and sanding equipment.
- Assembles materials using nails, screws, dowels, and glue for strength and aesthetics.
- Verifies dimensions and installations using measuring tools.
- Fabricates products in conformance with company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Ensures compliance with ISO 14001 standards and the Environmental Management System.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 to 3 years of related experience or a combination of experience, training, and education.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to safely operate production equipment and woodworking tools.
