About the position

The Maintenance Technician at Madison Development Company LLC is responsible for performing repairs and upgrades to ensure the property remains in excellent condition. This role involves maintaining both the interior and exterior of multi-family housing units, completing work orders, and preparing units for future occupancy. The technician must foster a positive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors while working independently across multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and upgrades to maintain property condition.
• Complete maintenance and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Make minor electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as faucet repairs and drain snaking.
• Execute painting tasks including plastering, priming, and applying various types of paint.
• Keep grounds clean and maintained.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of previous experience in apartment maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Must have own hand tools and dependable transportation with proper auto insurance.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
