Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix mortar, grout, and concrete as required.
• Assist in laying bricks, blocks, and stone with precision.
• Operate masonry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in enforcing safety guidelines on-site.
• Work closely with experienced masons to learn techniques and skills.
• Prepare materials and assist in masonry tasks as directed.
• Learn to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Practice proper use of masonry tools and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate progress in mastering masonry techniques over time.

Requirements

• Previous experience in masonry or construction is required for Skilled Masonry Laborers.
• No experience necessary for Apprentices; a willingness to learn and grow in the trade is essential.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and desire to grow with the company.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to commute to Tallahassee, FL 32303 (Preferred).
• Ability to relocate to Tallahassee, FL 32303 before starting work (Required).
