Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on trailers.
• Conduct air and hydraulic brake repairs.
• Troubleshoot suspension and electrical systems.
• Utilize diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a trailer technician.
• Technical knowledge of major trailer systems and related equipment.
• Proficiency in welding steel, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys.
• Must supply own tools.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with web-based training and work order systems.
