About the position
The Skills Guidance Coach will support interns with intellectual disabilities in exploring job opportunities and identifying vocational interests that match their skills and desires. This role requires a compassionate and resourceful individual who can think creatively and work effectively with a diverse population.
Responsibilities
- Assist interns in exploring job sites and discovering vocational interests.
- Provide guidance and support to interns diagnosed with intellectual disabilities.
- Utilize strong interviewing skills to assess interns' abilities and interests.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for interns.
