About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Acoustic equipment experience preferred
• 2+ years' experience working in an outdoor construction environment
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to travel, as much as 25% of the time over nights and weekends as needed
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal history background check
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, inspection techniques and equipment use.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Operating Acoustic equipment (SL Rat) as part of a process to test the flowability of underground pipelines while using a software to document manhole observations.
• We operate two-man crews that consist of an operator and an assistant/laborer. The workday is spent driving the truck to the job site, setting up and tearing down equipment, operating the equipment, maintaining a safe jobsite, etc.
• Learn Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, inspection techniques and use of equipment.
• Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and subordinates.
• Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment.
