About the position

The position is focused on the design, analysis, and integration of fluids and propulsion subsystems for Blue Origin's Lunar Permanence business unit, specifically for the Blue Moon lander product lines. The role involves end-to-end ownership of design and verification requirements, ensuring the successful development of sustainable infrastructure for transporting crew and cargo to the lunar surface. The candidate will work within a collaborative team to support the Artemis lunar exploration program, contributing to the mission of enabling millions of people to live and work in space.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End ownership of the Fluids and Propulsion design and verification requirements
  • Integrate between fluids propulsion subsystem and overall system level vehicle design, analysis, software, operations
  • Understand and manage key Technical Performance Metrics for the system
  • Support the development and execution of component and subsystem tests
  • Coordination of plans for verification and validation
  • Spearhead the organization and preparation efforts for gate reviews
  • Ensure timely updates and communication of system level progress
