About The Position

As a Sleep Expert®, you will undergo an extensive, customer-centric retail sales training program designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the role. Your primary goal will be to cultivate strong relationships with customers, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their shopping experience. You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical and product knowledge to assist customers in making informed decisions about their sleep needs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving individual sales performance and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) while embodying the company's values and supporting its initiatives. Maintaining customer relationships is crucial, as you will be expected to follow up with customers post-purchase, resolve any issues, and send delivery reminders. Additionally, you will need to stay informed about the competition, including their advertisements and services, to effectively position Mattress Firm as the go-to authority on sleep. Leveraging social media to enhance brand awareness and increase sales will also be part of your responsibilities.
