About The Position

The Slots Floor Attendant at Isleta Resort & Casino is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while safeguarding the casino's assets. This entry-level position involves assisting guests with slot machines, handling minor issues, and ensuring a positive atmosphere on the gaming floor. The role requires effective communication and basic math skills, along with a commitment to the casino's service standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent required.
• Six months prior and consecutive cash handling and guest/customer service experience required.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Secondary language, Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with efficient service during the jackpot payment process and servicing of minor machine issues.
• Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• Identifies machines requiring technician support and informs supervisory personnel of incidents requiring their attention.
• Handles minor customer complaints and concerns.
• Ensures tidiness of responsible areas and assists in training of new Slot Attendants.
• Safeguards assets located within the department and performs all duties in accordance with the casino's policies and procedures.
• Greets guests and maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Gives basic instruction on all slots, promotions, and special events as requested.
