About the position

The Slot Floor position at Four Queens Hotel and Casino is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service while managing slot machine operations. This role involves processing jackpots, handling guest concerns, and maintaining compliance with internal and external regulations. The position requires proactive engagement with guests and effective troubleshooting of slot machine issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs customer service calls in an assigned area encompassing up to 400 Slot Machines.
• Troubleshoots slot machine problems and clears simple jams, notifying slot technicians for serious malfunctions.
• Maintains ticket levels in slot machines according to company policies.
• Ensures superior guest service by proactively engaging with guests and offering assistance.
• Processes and pays jackpots accurately, managing the money pouch and assigned floor bank.
• Identifies and resolves guest concerns by patrolling the assigned work area.
• Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of related experience with a basic working knowledge of slot machine payouts and payout schedules.
• Basic computer skills to accurately process jackpots and W2Gs.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• Understanding of Regulation 6A and ability to obtain necessary permits.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to be mobile throughout the casino and lift/carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
