About the position

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in Richardson, Texas. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, screening, and evaluating students, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and creating a positive learning environment. This role is crucial in supporting students' communication needs and collaborating with parents and the school team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, screen, and evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Review goals and objectives to recommend appropriate care plans.
  • Establish a positive learning environment for students.
  • Provide response to intervention tailored to each student's needs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • Texas SLP License.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • School experience is preferred but not required.
  • ASHA Certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
