About the position
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in Richardson, Texas. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, screening, and evaluating students, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and creating a positive learning environment. This role is crucial in supporting students' communication needs and collaborating with parents and the school team.
Responsibilities
- Assess, screen, and evaluate students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Review goals and objectives to recommend appropriate care plans.
- Establish a positive learning environment for students.
- Provide response to intervention tailored to each student's needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Texas SLP License.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- School experience is preferred but not required.
- ASHA Certification.
