About the position

This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school district located 20 minutes south of Indianapolis, Indiana, for the 2024/2025 school year. The role involves working with a preschool caseload and includes support from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The position is in-person and requires 35 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to preschool students.
• Collaborate with the SLPA to assist with treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Requirements

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Indiana (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
