About the position

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position at Soundly Speaking Therapy Services focuses on providing teletherapy and in-person therapy to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Oklahoma. The role emphasizes high-quality evaluations, goal setting, and supervision of SLP-Assistants, while maintaining a compassionate approach to therapy. The SLP will work closely with clients, families, and dayhab staff to enhance the lives of individuals aged 21 and up, ensuring they receive the necessary support and therapy in a friendly and motivating environment.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to clients' homes to provide individually tailored therapy
• Documenting therapy visits and contacting families and case managers to share updates
• Utilizing and augmenting the resources provided for therapy
• Providing high-quality evaluations and goal setting for clients
• Supervising SLP-Assistants during therapy sessions and providing quality feedback
• Turning in paperwork within a 24-hour timeline
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations

Requirements

• Oklahoma-issued Speech Language Pathologist License
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Ability to learn on the job and utilize provided materials effectively
