About the position
The Small Business Banker II at CrossFirst Bank is responsible for building a client base through proactive business development and community involvement. This role focuses on increasing the Small Business loan portfolio, generating income from loan fees and Treasury Services, and expanding core deposits. The banker will develop long-term relationships with clients and collaborate with internal partners to meet their financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Build a client base through prospecting and community involvement.
- Increase the Small Business loan portfolio and generate loan fee and Treasury Services income.
- Develop and expand long-term business relationships with clients.
- Provide comprehensive portfolio management and analyze clients' financial positions.
- Drive new business development through proactive strategies and cross-selling efforts.
- Contribute to the Oklahoma City Market CRA strategy by executing loan and deposit opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive reports, presentations, and proposals to clients.
- Ensure compliance with credit/financial requirements for lending quality.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to bank policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of small business banking products and services.
- Proven experience as a business banking loan officer in a high-performing bank environment.
- Effective communication and results-oriented skills.
- Strong presentation and consultative sales skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics preferred.
