About the position

The Small Business Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, focusing on small to middle market businesses. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and relationship management, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of small businesses. The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility after training, and is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting small businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a generalist book of business, including BOPs, cannabis accounts, bonds, construction, habitational, and artisan contractors.
  • Handle accounts with premiums of $50k or less, focusing on small to middle market experience.
  • Provide top-notch service in a service-only role, with opportunities for negotiation if bringing in new business.
  • Utilize the Epic management system, with training provided for those without prior experience.
  • Enjoy hybrid work arrangements after completing training.

Requirements

  • Experience in small to middle market commercial lines insurance.
  • Service-oriented mindset dedicated to exceptional customer service and strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of accounts effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to learn and use the Epic management system.
