About the position

The Small Business Marketing Manager for Sales Enablement at Meta plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by creating engaging sales content and communications aimed at small business advertisers. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop consistent messaging and drive sales execution, ultimately helping small businesses grow through Meta's platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Product, and Communication teams to develop compelling sales communications materials/assets.
  • Devise sales communication strategies and guidance related to our initiatives.
  • Develop clear, concise, and differentiated internal communications to improve Sales understanding of Company programs, responses, initiatives.
  • Coordinate with partners to roll out new or changed messaging to the sales teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for questions and support.
  • Proactively engage with sales managers and sales representatives to gather qualitative feedback on messaging and use feedback to further optimize messaging/deliverables, and share best practices.
  • Plan and execute prioritized work by selecting an appropriate method to most effectively achieve project objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry and market trends.
  • Become an expert in Meta's media products, partners, narrative and audiences.
  • Work closely with leadership and global cross-functional teams, to activate proactive and reactive messages across Sales channels and to mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of marketing and communications experience, including sales enablement experience from a marketing perspective.
  • Experience creating sales communications that produce measurable results.
  • Experience with online advertising industry and/or small and medium businesses.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience creating sales communication strategies for both global and regionally-specific audiences.
  • Experience thinking strategically through complex concepts and translating into easy-to-understand ideas.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience, and experience adapting materials based on data and insights.
  • Experience effectively collaborating with multiple cross-functional partners and prioritizing work against goals and deadlines.
  • Project management and communication experience.
  • Experience using Meta Business products (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Account, Ads Manager, Commerce Manager, etc.).
  • Experience working independently and within teams, and maintaining solid judgment in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with sales processes including inbound lead response and outbound prospecting.
  • Experience with small business challenges and needs.
  • Start up experience.
