About the position

As a Small to Medium Business Account Executive at Optimum, you will play a crucial role in enhancing connectivity for businesses by providing tailored telecom solutions. This position involves engaging with business owners, understanding their unique needs, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through our suite of products and services. You will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals, all while contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers in assigned field territories through market-savvy skills and community engagement.
  • Approach businesses professionally to educate them about the benefits of our telecom services.
  • Craft tailored telecom packages based on the unique needs of each customer.
  • Stay updated with the latest offerings, pricing plans, and technological advancements in telecom.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the advantages of our products and services.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all paperwork, contracts, and sales reports with precision.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and strategies for achieving collective goals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas.
  • Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of field sales experience to Small/Medium Businesses.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work full time.
