About the position

The Smart Materials Support Specialist at Technip Energies is responsible for the administration and management of Intergraph Smart® Materials (SMat) systems in North America. This role involves providing technical support, training, and coordination for material management activities in both office and construction site environments, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Intergraph Smart® Materials User Administrator activities for North America.
  • Provide general and direct support to departmental and project personnel.
  • Drive process improvement and enable cross-functional teams with project execution.
  • Apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills for all types of SMat data management.
  • Represent material management in conferences to resolve issues and advance company plans and procedures.
  • Plan and execute in support of project operations within established guidelines.
  • Provide training and workshops on Materials Management tools, policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Support users in the Smart® Reference Data module performing Item builder tasks.
  • Generate Material Forecasts to assist with AWP activities and Material Feasibility.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the use of Hexagons Intergraph Smart® Materials (SMAT) modules.
  • Ability to process and analyze Office and Site Digital Data.
  • Excellent computer literacy and skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • SMat expert level skills in multiple modules.
  • Experience in work process and user technical training.
  • 5+ years of Materials Management Experience in Office and/or Construction locations.
  • Site experience with large oil & gas and petrochemicals industries projects.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree.
