About the position

The Smart Mining Transformation Principal at Infosys is responsible for leading and driving significant transformation initiatives within the Mining sector. This role involves engaging with clients to redesign core business processes, manage change, and deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives. The Principal will work closely with decision-makers, analyze operational capabilities, and coordinate transformations across various work streams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Shape, plan, and drive high-priority initiatives for ES clients in the Mining sector.
• Redesign core business processes and manage significant change across Mining businesses.
• Engage with decision-makers to define charters, business cases, and establish KPIs.
• Design and deliver solutions while ensuring seamless project oversight.
• Analyze operational capabilities and identify gaps to enhance performance and meet strategic objectives.
• Drive Smart Mining business transformations to deliver measurable value and outcomes.
• Coordinate transformations across multiple work streams, including Mining Solutions development and Data Strategy.
• Collaborate with globally distributed development teams to mitigate risks and maximize project outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 10 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Smart Manufacturing.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 10 years of experience in leading Mining transformation programs using IoT, Automation, AI, and Analytics.
• Ability to shape business cases for new initiatives in the Mining sector.
• Experience in identifying cost reduction and revenue generation initiatives across Mining opportunity areas.
• At least 10 years of experience in Business/Enterprise level program management with Agile delivery.
• Understanding of using data/KPIs to track value and manage delivery risks.
• Experience in Change Management to drive end-user adoption in a Mining setting.
• Experience working with senior client buyers and solution owners.
