About the position

The Graphic Designer at icebreaker and Smartwool will support the Creative Team in developing campaign visuals and graphics that inspire audiences while ensuring consistent brand representation across various channels. This role requires a passion for design, a strong visual eye, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design impactful and effective creative for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Create eye-catching deliverables including point of sale materials, trade ads, display signage, digital signage, retail merchandising, catalogs, and packaging.
• Collaborate with the creative and brand marketing team on photoshoots and content creation projects.
• Work with channel leads to develop A/B testing creative and implement findings in future iterations.
• Design motion graphics such as gifs and small videos for email, onsite, and advertising needs.
• Ensure quality and visual consistency of all materials shared by internal and external partners.
• Direct freelance talent to ensure all materials meet brand guideline requirements during the assignment.
• Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to marketing and communication challenges.
• Contribute to the copywriting process for creative impact.
• Perform photography retouching.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in design.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and open to creative feedback.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous email and print design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of Figma.
• Time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
• Creative management from briefing through to creative reviews and asset handoff.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive attitude in creating creative solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years of agency experience.
• Experience with apparel brands or in the outdoor industry.
• Experience with video editing or animation.
