About the position

The SMB Sales Operations Manager at Frontier plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations Director to drive sales initiatives within the SMB segment. This position focuses on managing the SMB sales compensation program and leading large-scale transformations. The role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who is passionate about sales excellence and talent development, working closely with sales teams and leadership to achieve growth targets and enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Gauge the efficacy of existing compensation methodologies and strategies while providing input into overall plan design to drive key sales outcomes and leadership business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison on behalf of SMB, leading initiatives to streamline and automate all processes related to sales compensation, in partnership with corporate accounting.
  • Provide analytical support, including assessment of historical data and pipeline analysis, and conduct ad-hoc research on variable pay projects as identified by management.
  • Summarize findings and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assist in evaluating and improving processes related to quota setting, performance management, and complex payment scenarios.
  • Identify and address barriers to sales success, employing innovative solutions to drive improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of HR reporting systems and structured incentive compensation tools (e.g., Xactly) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales compensation, territory planning, and/or statistical analysis roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of sales incentive compensation concepts, sales data tracking processes, and methodologies & tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manipulate complex data with high accuracy and data integrity.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, written communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence key stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
