About the position

The SME-React Developer Journeyman position at Tecknomic involves working with the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) to develop a new application. This hybrid role requires a subject matter expert in React who will be part of a DevOps team implementing a comprehensive child welfare information system. The role focuses on designing and developing customized solutions using React, including coding, unit testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized solutions using React for the CFSA application.
• Participate in meetings to understand complex business requirements.
• Create functional requirements and design for customizations.
• Estimate the level of effort for implementation tasks accurately.
• Review proposed implementations and identify efficient designs.
• Collaborate with Delivery architects, Technical Leads, and developers for code reviews.
• Ensure access and security profiles meet the needs of the Agency.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience as a SME/Developer in complex enterprise-level projects.
• Deep knowledge of React (4+ years) and at least 2 years of experience with Next.js and Node.js.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Typescript.
• Experience with cloud hosting services such as Azure or AWS.
