About the position

The SME-React Developer Journeyman position is focused on developing a new application for an agency, requiring a subject matter expert in React. The role involves designing and developing customized solutions, coding, unit testing, and troubleshooting within a DevOps team. The candidate will need to engage with clients to understand complex business requirements and ensure that technical solutions meet agency needs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements
• Create functional requirement and design for customizations
• Accurately estimate level of effort for implementation tasks
• Review developer proposed implementation and identify efficient designs
• Work with Delivery architects, Technical Leads and developers to ensure access and security profiles meet the needs of the Agency
• Collaborate with Delivery architects, Technical Leads and developers to perform code reviews

Requirements

• 10 years of experience as a SME/Developer in complex enterprise-level developer projects
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• 6 years of experience in CI/CD deployment, testing, and full-stack development
• 6 years of experience in developing React applications
• 4 years of experience in developing Node.js
• 2 years of experience in Typescript
• 1 year of understanding of RESTful API design and development
• 2 years of experience in cloud-based hosting such as Azure or AWS
• Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills
