About the position

As a Smelter Operator, you will be trained to perform operating duties in the smelting process while working around hot furnaces and wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators. New employees will participate in an 8-week onboarding program that combines classroom and in-field training, focusing on safety and technical skills necessary for the role. Responsibilities
- Perform operating duties in the smelting process while working around hot furnaces.
- Wear proper PPE including respirators during operations.
- Follow standard operating processes to ensure safety.
- Actively care for the safety of self and others during operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work wearing respirators all day.
- Minimum age of 21 to comply with safety standards.
- Commitment to safety in every task.

- Experience in processing, oil/gas, manufacturing, mining, construction, agriculture, hospitality, healthcare, airlines, or warehousing & logistics.
