The individual selected for this role will provide electrical engineering services to safely meet Warrick Operations' business plan by supporting production, maintenance, and engineering. This position is critical in ensuring the efficiency, output, and quality of our processes, and will be responsible for the safe integration of electrical systems with manufacturing, as well as upgrades to existing equipment. The major responsibilities for this position will include providing process improvements to meet Warrick Operations' business plan, crafting and developing programs that support process improvements and new electrical systems, and coordinating all phases of assigned area electrical engineering projects. This includes concept development, scope definition, writing specifications, bid solicitations, design, manufacturing, equipment commissioning, and project closure. The selected candidate will also assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues, functioning as a problem solver by applying theory and experience to develop process improvements and correctly identifying problems with sound recommendations for long-term improvements. Additionally, the role involves leading and participating in process improvements with multi-discipline technical staff, maintenance, and production, as well as mentoring employees to enhance their knowledge of equipment and processes.
