Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and procedures based on training and competency evaluations.
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as delegated by healthcare professionals.
• Support the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse in delivering quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
• Conduct phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as required.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic) required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting or as an EMT, Paramedic, or Corpsman preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
