About the position

The Smock Room Attendant is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of break rooms and restrooms, ensuring that smocks are clean, and distributing supplies as needed. This role requires adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and compliance with all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. The attendant will work the 2nd shift from 11 AM to 8 PM, focusing on maintaining a hygienic environment for all employees. The attendant's duties include cleaning and sanitizing tables in the main break rooms, the outdoor break area, and the Live Hang area after each break. They are also responsible for monitoring and cleaning all bathrooms at least once every hour, which includes sanitizing toilets, sinks, and ensuring that paper towels, toilet paper, and soap are adequately stocked. Additionally, the attendant will clean and mop floors, take out trash, and ensure that conference rooms are maintained daily. At the end of each shift, the attendant must restock supplies on the cleaning cart and ensure that all dispensers are full for the next shift. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness. The attendant must be prepared to work in a wet and cold environment and be able to lift weights ranging from 10 to 100 pounds. The role is essential in maintaining a safe and clean workplace for all employees, contributing to the overall efficiency and hygiene of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize break rooms and restrooms regularly.
  • Sweep and take out trash in break rooms and outdoor break areas after each break.
  • Monitor and clean bathrooms at least once every hour, including sanitizing toilets and sinks.
  • Check and refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all bathrooms.
  • Clean and sanitize tables in conference rooms daily.
  • Mop floors and take out trash in conference rooms every day.
  • Restock supplies on the cleaning cart for the next shift.
  • Ensure all dispensers are full at the end of each shift.

Requirements

  • Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
  • Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Hatchery or relative poultry industry experience.
  • Basic math functions and skills.
