About the position

The Entry Level Sales & Marketing Rep (SMR) at SERVPRO of Norwalk/Wilton is responsible for updating the CRM Salesforce Database, maintaining an active presence at local and regional associations, and promoting Franchise Services in the assigned territory. This role involves growing and developing the customer base through systematic processes, engaging with potential clients, and ensuring customer needs are met. Responsibilities

  • Update the CRM Salesforce Database.
  • Maintain an active presence at local and regional associations and trade show events.
  • Promote Franchise Services in assigned territory.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings to exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Grow and develop customer base by identifying new prospects and cultivating relationships.
  • Use marketing materials to market SERVPRO services and sell benefits.
  • Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Engage with potential clients and analyze market trends.
  • Coordinate continuing education events for clients and marketing events.
  • Participate in professional networking events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2+ years of sales and marketing experience or related sales and marketing support.
  • 1-2+ years of business-to-business sales related experience.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in the service sector.
  • 1-2+ years of superb customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate degree in marketing or business administration preferred.
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning, restoration, construction, or insurance industry is desired.
