About the position

The Snow Crew Foreman at LNG Landscapes is responsible for leading a team in snow removal operations, ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining high-quality service. This role involves planning, scheduling, and supervising snow removal tasks at various sites, utilizing modern equipment and technology to meet operational goals during the winter season.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in snow removal operations according to assigned maps and instructions.
• Safely operate vehicles and small equipment for snow removal.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete required documentation of job status and maintain communication with team members.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and accidents are documented appropriately.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise all assigned jobs, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Conduct on-site orientations for new employees and participate in recruitment activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools used for snow removal.
• Read and interpret maps and specifications to delegate work activities effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• 1+ season of snow removal or landscape experience (preferred)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to operate required equipment and tools safely
• Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to read and interpret maps and specifications

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with snow plowing
• Ability to carry and use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting
