Snow Plow Operator / Lawn Care

About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, along with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and walkways of snow and ice.
• Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations.
• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding operational status and road conditions.
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks during off-season, including mowing, tree care, lawn care, hardscape installation, and tree trimming.
• Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Snow Plow Operator or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including groundskeeping, mowing, and tree care.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging or lifting heavy materials.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during winter storms, including nights and weekends if necessary.
