About the position

The Snowflake Cloud Engineer at Infosys is responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and utilizing technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. This role involves requirements analysis, design, and development of software solutions, with a focus on creating high-level design artifacts and delivering quality outputs. The engineer will lead validation for testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, all while fostering a collaborative and diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Create high-level design artifacts for software solutions.
• Deliver high-quality outputs for assigned modules.
• Lead validation for all types of testing.
• Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in a specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and expertise in data quality, master data management, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake development, Teradata, Denodo, or other data warehouse technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Experience with data modeling and database design, proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
