About the position

As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake. This position requires a deep understanding of SQL and ETL processes, as well as hands-on experience with Snowflake features such as Time Travel and Zero-Copy Cloning. You will be responsible for writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries within the Snowflake environment, ensuring that data is stored and accessed efficiently. In addition to technical skills, you will need to integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools, ensuring that data security and compliance with industry standards are maintained. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as you will work to meet data-driven business objectives and translate business needs into technical specifications. Staying updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices will be a key part of your role, allowing you to leverage new capabilities to enhance data architecture and performance. This position is based onsite in either Syracuse, New York, or Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and is offered as a contract role with a competitive hourly rate. You will be expected to work from 8 AM to 4 PM, contributing to a dynamic team focused on data solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of data migration and optimization within Snowflake
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
