About the position

The Snowflake Data Architect will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions using Snowflake. This position requires a strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing, with a focus on ensuring seamless data integration, data quality, and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture solutions using Snowflake
• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data marts
• Ensure data quality, data governance, and data security best practices are followed
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions
• Optimize Snowflake performance and scalability
• Develop and implement ETL processes using Snowflake SQL and other tools
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or similar role
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, and implementing complex stored procedures
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Experience with data integration, data quality, and data governance
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-haves

• Snowflake certification
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
