About the position

The Snowflake Developer position involves designing and developing data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. The role requires collaboration with cloud architects and engineers to integrate Snowflake with other cloud services, as well as optimizing configurations and processes for efficiency. Additionally, the developer will implement data security policies and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design the architecture of data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
  • Create and maintain logical and physical data models for Snowflake.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes and frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and storage in Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to integrate Snowflake with other cloud services and platforms.
  • Optimize Snowflake configurations, queries, and data loading processes for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement data security and governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within Snowflake environments, including query performance, data integrity, and access issues.
  • Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation for architecture, design, and operational processes.

Requirements
