About the position

The Snowflake Developer position is a contract role focused on developing and implementing scalable data solutions using Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL Server. The role requires strong programming skills, particularly in Python and C#, and involves designing REST API services for data access and security. The developer will also work on enterprise-class applications and may engage in full-stack development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable REST API services for data access and security.
• Develop enterprise-class applications using .NET and C#.
• Build backend services using C#.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Refactor data structures and algorithms to enhance performance.
• Handle data from multiple vendors and build robust log tracking systems.
• Utilize reporting software like Tableau for data visualization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 2+ years of experience with Tableau.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience in software development using .NET Core and C#.
• Strong ability to design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience building backend services using C#.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Knowledge of Cloud Foundry.
• Full stack development expertise including HTML5, Angular/Backbone, JavaScript, JSON, XML.
• Experience in Informatica development.
