About the position

The Snowflake Developer role involves designing and developing data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. The position requires extensive experience in creating data models, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and optimizing Snowflake configurations. The developer will collaborate with cloud architects to integrate Snowflake with other services and ensure data security and governance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design the architecture of data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Create and maintain logical and physical data models for Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes and frameworks to efficiently ingest, transform, and store data in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to integrate Snowflake with other cloud services and platforms.
• Optimize Snowflake configurations, queries, and data loading processes for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement data security and governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within Snowflake environments, including query performance, data integrity, and access issues.
• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation for architecture, design, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Coding experience with Snowpark, Python, PySpark, Snowflake stored procedures, and Snowflake functions like Stream, task, scheduling.
