About the position

The Snowflake Developer role involves working with data warehousing and migration, specifically utilizing the Snowflake platform. The position requires strong technical skills in data integration technology solutions and a solid understanding of cloud databases. The developer will be responsible for implementing, executing, and maintaining data solutions, optimizing database performance, and ensuring real-time monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Data Warehousing, Data migration, and Snowflake.
• Implement, execute, and maintain Data Integration technology solutions.
• Optimize Snowflake database performance and conduct real-time monitoring.
• Write Snowflake procedures using SQL, Python, and Java.
• Utilize Snowpipe and Snowpark for data pipeline development.
• Demonstrate strong database architecture and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Cloud databases.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the Snowflake platform.
• Strong experience with Snow SQL and PL/SQL.
• Expertise in writing Snowflake procedures using SQL/Python/Java.
• Experience with optimizing Snowflake database performance.
• Strong networking skills with Snowflake technology.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Big data tools & technologies and platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed computing platforms like Spark and DASK.
• Experience with AWS platform services.
• Snowflake Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with Snowpark using Python programming languages.
