About the position

The Snowflake Developer position involves working as part of a team to develop Cloud Data and Analytics solutions, focusing on data integration projects and the data warehouse. The role requires a deep understanding of operational systems and datasets to extract, model, and build data marts, ensuring data integrity and security. The developer will also be instrumental in building the ETL stack to cleanse, transform, and load data from various enterprise sources, collaborating closely with business teams and BI specialists to meet analytics needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Cloud Data and Analytics solutions as part of a team.
  • Work on data integration projects and assist with sourcing the data warehouse.
  • Understand various operational systems and datasets to extract data into the data warehouse, model it, and build data marts.
  • Formulate the vision for data integrity and security within the data warehouse.
  • Build the ETL stack to cleanse, transform, and load data from different enterprise sources using multiple ETL technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal business teams and BI specialists to define analytics needs.
  • Work with Senior engineers to define current and future technology within the group and the company.

Requirements

  • Experience with Snowflake and cloud data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in data modeling and building data marts.
  • Knowledge of data integrity and security best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with BI tools and analytics frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
