About the position

The Snowflake Developer position focuses on developing a complex data warehouse within the Supply Chain domain. The role requires a strong background in SQL development and data analysis, with specific expertise in Snowflake and cloud services. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions in Snowflake, as well as managing data loads from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a new complex data warehouse in Snowflake.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
• Load data from disparate data sets into Snowflake.
• Administer and monitor the Snowflake computing platform.
• Create and modify user accounts and security groups as per requests.
• Handle large and complex sets of XML, JSON, and CSV data from various sources.
• Perform analysis of vast data stores to uncover insights.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in SQL Development and Data Analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud services and the Supply Chain domain.
• At least 2 years of recent experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with databases like Oracle and Teradata.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, and SnowPipe.
• Ability to administer and monitor the Snowflake computing platform.
• Experience in data loading and management in cloud databases.
• Solid grasp of database engineering and design.
• Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python.
