About the position
The Snowflake Developer at Zenith Services is responsible for designing and building data pipelines on cloud-based infrastructure, specifically utilizing Snowflake. This senior-level position requires extensive experience in cloud solutions and hands-on development in Snowflake, focusing on optimizing performance and addressing data issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines on cloud-based infrastructure using Snowflake.
- Perform end-to-end build processes including ingestion, transformation, and extract generation in Snowflake.
- Write stored procedures in JavaScript and optimize Snowflake performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide production support for data issues.
- Utilize tools such as Azure, DBT, Airflow, and Cosmos DB in development processes.
Requirements
- SnowPro Certification is required.
- 5-6 years of experience in cloud-based solutions.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development.
- Proficiency in writing stored procedures in JavaScript.
- Experience in optimizing and tuning Snowflake performance.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge and experience in Python is a plus.
