Snowflake Developer

About the position

Snowflake Developer will be proficient with data platform architecture, design, data dictionaries, multi-dimensional models, objects, star Snowflake schemas and structures for data lakes, data science and data warehouses using Snowflake. Responsibilities will also include technical delivery review, resolution of architecture issues and for the migration of the existing on-premises application to AWS/Azure Snowflake platform.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with data platform architecture and design.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and multi-dimensional models.
• Design star Snowflake schemas and structures for data lakes, data science, and data warehouses.
• Conduct technical delivery reviews and resolve architecture issues.
• Assist in the migration of existing on-premises applications to AWS/Azure Snowflake platform.

Requirements

• Proficient in Snowflake, AWS batch, Scripting (Shell, Python), Advanced SQL, and Linux.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, database fundamentals, ETL/ELT, batch concepts, data security and controls, and automation techniques.
• Proven ability to understand data and convert requirements into clean designs.
• Experience collaborating with analysts, architects, and DBAs.

• Ability to quickly learn business concepts, data, current infrastructure, and common utilities.
• Experience working in a team environment and accelerating work without needing to lead.
